May Crochet

Client: Jael Oketch

Jael's crochet brand was drowning in Instagram DMs. Now she has a live storefront and a private dashboard to manage products and orders from her phone.

The Brief

Jael Oketch runs May Crochet, a handmade crochet brand growing fast on Instagram. Orders were coming in through DMs — which meant lost messages, no order history, and hours of manual tracking.

She needed two things: a public site that sells the brand, and a private admin dashboard where she could manage products and orders herself — without paying a developer every time she changed a price.

The Build

Warm, editorial layout with generous product photography, soft cream backgrounds and bold crochet grids. Designed to feel handmade and premium at once — mobile-first, because most of Jael's customers browse on their phones.

The admin dashboard handles secure login, product CRUD, inventory counts, order tracking and customer messages — connected to the same Supabase database that powers the public site.

The Result

  • A live public site at jael-hazel.vercel.app selling the brand 24/7.
  • A custom admin dashboard at may-crochet-admin.vercel.app for products, orders and messages.
  • One source of truth: the public site and dashboard share a single database — zero double entry.

Sammy took my crochet business online in days — a beautiful site and a dashboard I actually understand. I update orders and stock from my phone.
